Through my long experience as a gallery owner, freelance journalist, curator and jury member I have a broad international network.

exhibitions
As co-owner of Galerie Binnen for 14 years I presented exhibitions of modern Dutch, Italian, French, German and Czech design. I also organized exhibitions on commission from museums and institutions such as Museum Waterland in Purmerend and the ABC Architecture Centre Haarlem.

freelance journalist
AAs a columnist for the daily newspaper Het Parool (1984-87) and as a freelance writer for Items, Project & Interieur, the Museumtijdschrift, Museumvisie, Ahrend and Forbo I gained a broad experience in journalism. I also wrote catalog texts for the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Museum Waterland, the European Ceramic Work Centre, Kunst en Bedrijf, Galerie Binnen, Via Milano, Dutch Design Yearbook, Christine Jetten, Wim Borst en Herman Hermsen. Recently I wrote gallery texts for the permanent design display in the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
